About Homestead Hope Counseling Services

It is our pleasure to introduce you to Homestead Hope Counseling Services, LLC which is dedicated to meeting the counseling needs of those who desire change.  All services provided by our counselors are invariably entwined with personal faith in God, more specifically Jesus Christ. Core to our counseling theory is man’s relationship with God.

Dan R. Graham, LPC-S, NCC, BCPCC

Director of Clinical Care

Dan has been the owner and director of Homestead Hope since its inception in 2006. His compassionate, but no-nonsense counsel reflects not only his concern for his clients, but more importantly, Biblical truth. He is able to walk with individuals and families during their most difficult times. His specialties include, but are not limited to anger management, abandonment, self-esteem/self-worth, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, pornography addiction, pre-marital and marital counseling, parenting, foster care/adoption challenges, prison/parole rehabilitation, along with various other more generalized proficiencies. Having graduated from the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary’s (SWBTS) counseling program, and a former pastor, he is well-informed concerning the challenges of spirituality, religion and pastoral challenges.

Katie Hopkins

Licensed Professional Counselor, Psychoeducational Group Facilitator

Katie has been an ongoing influence here at Homestead Hope since October 2012. She is passionate about helping adolescents, single adults, couples and families live a full and healthy life. Her specialties include eating disorders, body image issues, depression, anxiety, self-worth/self-esteem, self-care, premarital and marital counseling, anger management in teens and adults, codependency, coping skills, grief and loss, guilt and shame, peer relationships, particularly with teens and young college students, stress management, inclinations toward self-harm, spirituality, and women’s issues. Her fervency lies in her desire and ability to help people sort out personal issues using a life changing combination of secular and faith-based methodologies. She earned her master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS).

Lisa Marie Hernandez

Licensed Master Social Worker, Crisis Interventionist

Lisa Marie has been a member of our PRN staff for many years and is now on a regular schedule of counseling. She has facilitated psychoeducational classes in the areas of self-worth and hope. Her primary expertise is social work integrated with secular and or faith-based counseling methodologies, whichever is warranted. She processes unique insight into the challenges of living with chronic illness and pain. Other areas of proficiency include crisis intervention/management, addiction, suicide prevention and art therapy. She often conducts therapy using her trusted Morkie, Zoe, a therapy dog who loves attention and treats! Lisa earned her master’s in Social Work from Texas Christian University. She is bilingual (English / Spanish) and is primarily available in Bridgeport, Texas area.

Chad Anderson

Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor

Chad started with Homestead Hope Counseling in December 2016. He is instrumental in serving young men and boys with various challenges, along with other people groups and issues. His primary goal is to serve the Lord by serving families. He has developed his skills while working with Mental Health and Mental Retardation of Fort Worth for so many years. We are blessed to have Mr. Anderson sharing those skills with us as he has over 15 years of experience working with severe mental health issues in the areas of depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, substance abuse and dependency, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder, Mood Disorders, and men’s issues. He also specializes in grief and loss, anger management, parenting, and premarital/marital assessment and counseling, blended family challenges and tween/adolescent problems. Chad graduated with his master’s degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (SWBTS) and is well qualified to address spiritual concerns such as genuine guilt/false guilt, infidelity and other moral or social issues.

Andy Cecrle

Andy, a former US Marine, joined our family counseling team in February 2018, bringing with him many years of clinical experience and expertise in the areas of marriage and family which include couples’ counseling, infidelity, pornography addiction, self-worth/esteem, forgiveness and reconciliation, parenting, anger management, and a multitude of men’s issues. Andy has exceptional knowledge regarding community resources, crisis and suicide intervention, life skills training, military and veteran’s issues and various aspects of forensic psychology. He is also knowledgeable in parole and rehabilitation concerns. Being a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, he is well-versed in the aspects of spirituality, religion and pastoral challenges.

Joshua Craig

Joshua joined the professional team at Homestead Hope in March 2019. He approaches counseling from a holistic perspective recognizing the importance of the spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being of the individual. His typical focus is on the relationship between feelings, actions and thoughts, and how they collectively affect our lives – positively and negatively. As a professional counselor he works with people who desire success over personal obstacles in areas such as, but not limited to depression, anxiety, stress, anger management, faith and spiritual concerns. He works with individual adults, adolescents, and couples. Mr. Craig received his Master of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.

Clint is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern supervised by Dan R. Graham, LPC-S. He came to Homestead Hope Counseling Services in December 2019 as a retired pastor and law enforcement professional. Although new to professional counseling in Texas, he is no stranger to serving others. He has been ministering to hurting people in need since the mid-1980s as a pastor, teacher, police chaplain and pastoral counselor. He holds numerous degrees but most noteworthy to counseling is a master’s in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and Doctor of Ministry with a concentration in Counseling & Clinical Pastoral Care from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, California. Being capable of dealing with diverse people groups regarding a wide array of challenges, his focus lies with marriage and family, police officers, first responders, pastors and other members of the clergy.

Whitney Grace

Senior Administrative Assistant

Whitney has served as an Office Assistant at Homestead Hope Counseling since May 2018. Quickly mastering the duties and responsibilities of office management, she was recently promoted to her current position. Based in part on her personal life story, she considers it a privilege to work in a family oriented, family owned and operated Christian faith-based counseling center that is dedicated to helping those who are hurting by providing a safe place for spiritual and emotional healing and growth. As she continues to assist our clients and counseling staff on a daily basis, she is able to support the healing process for countless individuals and families. Her gift of administration makes her an invaluable asset to the work and ministry of Homestead Hope.
